C. Marshall Nelson

C. Marshall Nelson is a music man. He is a gifted guitarist, song writer, and a vocalist capable of evoking the legendary styles of the rock and rolls greats. First and foremost, he is a showman that can draw and hold a crowd. Though, many have accused him of lip-synching, his covers of the Stones, The Who, Zeppelin and others have sent his fans back in time reliving the legends. His real strength is when he sings his original material drawing his listeners into the present where his years on stage culminate in a performance second to none.

His years fronting popular bands like Ol’ Scratch and Della Street have brought him to the attention of major record labels and made his bands popular opening acts for major concerts. His time as a solo act has allowed Marshall to refine and hone his music, song writing, and vocal stylings to make him a crowd pleaser no matter what the venue is.

Marshall has opened as a band or a solo act for:
Alvin Lee, Beach Boys, Blue Oyster Cult, Cheap Trick, Fog Hat, Gary Richrath (REO Speedwagon), Jefferson Starship, John Butcher, Kansas, Marshall Tucker, Mariah Carey, Molly Hatchet, Steppenwolf, Smithereens, Nazareth, Outlaws, and Pat Travers.
His gear includes:
